मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के फार्मेसी विभाग के प्राचार्य प्रो. देव प्रकाश दहिया को चाणक्य सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया है। उन्हें यह सम्मान हिमाचल कला संस्कृति भाषा अकादमी, शिमला व विवि मंडल संचालित कला एवं वाणिज्य महाविद्यालय अक्कलकुवा महाराष्ट्र द्वारा प्रदान किया गया है। प्रो. देव प्रकाश की हिंदी भाषा शिक्षा, साहित्य के विकास और उत्थान के लिए निष्ठा, लग्न, सृजनात्मक एवं रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति ने भारतीय संस्कृति को राष्ट्रीय/अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर समृद्ध किया है।
प्रो. दहिया की उपलब्धि पर कुलपति प्रो. पीके दशोरा ने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि एक शिक्षक ही देश व समाज को मार्गदर्शन देकर संस्कारी बनाता है। शिक्षक के नेतृत्व में पूरी पीढ़ी अपना भविष्य सुनिश्चित करती है। इस अवसर पर कुलसचिव बिग्रे. समरवीर सिंह, परीक्षा नियंत्रक प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा ने प्रो. दहिया को शुभकामनाएं दी।
